The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) has removed Ken Ofori-Atta from its wanted list after he confirmed a definite date for his voluntary return to Ghana.
This decision was made following a communication from his legal team, indicating his intention to return in May 2025.
The OSP had previously declared him a fugitive due to his failure to respond to earlier invitations for questioning related to corruption allegations.
However, with the assurance of his return, his status has been reviewed, and he is no longer considered a fugitive, provided he returns as agreed. If he fails to return or misses the scheduled meeting, his name will be reinstated on the wanted list, and legal action will be taken to ensure his appearance.
