U.S.A Men’s Soccer Team Defeated by France in Olympic Opener

The U.S. men’s soccer team suffered a significant defeat against France with a 3-0 loss in their first match of the 2024 Olympics, marking a disappointing start for the team which had returned to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.

The match, held in Marseille, highlighted the superior performance of the French team, led by notable players such as Alexandre Lacazette and Michael Olise. The virginity of the game was broken by striker Alexandre Lacazette in the 61st minute assited by Michael Olise, in the 69th minute the second goal was recorded by Michael Olise with assist from Alexandre Lacazette.

Loïc Badé put the icing on the cake in the 85th minute with the third (3rd) goal with assist from Joris Chotard. The French football team really showed up with a statement of intent as they look forward to win gold in the men’s game at the Olympics 2024, a host and win affair.
