Liverpool is reportedly close to signing 15-year-old Rio Ngumoha from Chelsea. Ngumoha is motivated by the opportunities and pathway offered by Liverpool, especially after their second-string team won the Carabao Cup final against Chelsea last season.
Chelsea is said to be furious at the prospect of losing Ngumoha. The deal, if finalized, would see Ngumoha joining Liverpool on a scholar’s contract.
Liverpool are set to break historical wage structure for Academy to sign Rio, who’s highly rated by the club.
