This achievement was marked in a match against Fulham on May 11, 2024, where De Bruyne’s assist to Josko Gvardiol for Manchester City’s opening goal brought his tally to 111 assists.
It’s worth noting that De Bruyne accomplished this feat in a mere 258 matches, a staggering 92 fewer games than Fabregas. The only player ahead of them now in the all-time assist rankings is Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs, who holds the record with 162 assists.
