The “Save Ghana Fund” is a crowdfunding initiative recently launched by Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Cheddar, who is the leader of the New Force political party.
This campaign aims to raise approximately ¢100 million for his 2024 electoral campaign. The goal of the fund is to mobilize financial support from citizens, which will be used to shape the political landscape, elevate governance standards, and invest in leadership.
Cheddar himself made the first donation to the fund, contributing GHS 500,000. He emphasized the importance of accountability, stating that every donation will be accounted for and the use of funds will be transparent. The fund’s launch is part of a broader effort to address Ghana’s economic challenges and improve the country’s governance.
