The Takoradi Technical University (TTU) is celebrating its 70th anniversary with the unveiling of a new logo to commemorate this significant milestone.
This special anniversary logo was designed by Prince Asamoah Williams, an alumnus of TTU, following an open competition. The design incorporates elements like a cog wheel, a golden evolving laurel wreath, a multi-colored extension of the number “7,” and an insert of the original TTU logo.
The unveiling was led by Prof. John Frank Eshun, who highlighted the logo’s representation of the university’s past and future, and emphasized the unity of purpose that has made TTU successful over the past 70 years.
The event also served as a moment to reflect on the journey of the university and to acknowledge the contributions of its past leadership, staff, and partners. The celebration aims to continue nurturing a culture of inclusivity and teamwork to confront future challenges.
The Technical University thereby invites the general public to the official launch of its 70th anniversary which comes off on Thursday 18th April, 2024 at the Nicholas Aidoo-Taylor Auditorium.
