Kyekyeku Invites The Second Lady Of Ghana Madam Samira Bawumiah To The 1957 Movie Premiere
The 1957 movie, titled “1957”, is a production by Kyekyeku, a comedian and actor, and it premiers on 27th April, 2024. The film is set in Ghana and explores the historical relationship between the Asantes and the people of the Northern Region.
This premiere was a significant event, with notable personalities like Dr. Likee, Kalsoume Sinare, and Bernice Asare attending. The film was initially set to clash with Lil Win’s movie premiere, but Lil Win postponed his event to avoid overshadowing Kyekyeku’s work, demonstrating a supportive gesture within the local film community.
In a post on His official facebook page the actor wrote: “We invited the Second Lady of Ghana Madam Samira Bawumia to the 1957 movie premiere on 27th April, 2024. Thank you for your warm hospitality”
In Her reply, the First Lady also expressed Her profound gratitude to Kyekyeku and His team for such an honor.
